Liola Designs Pattern Testing

A while ago I had a privilege to test a new pattern  - Zoe raglan shirt by Liola Designs. I love the design of the top, it's simple and comfortable, yet has subtle sleeve designs to make it stand out.






The sleeves of the top are pleated. The cool feature would be more noticeable in solid fabric or if the pictures were not so overexposed. Unfortunately they are. But that's the best I could manage in the cold and with the hubby as a photographer. :)



The top needed a few modifications, which is something expected when testing. It was way too wide in the chest area, also the sleeves were too long. But as I said, as a tester you expect those things. The pattern itself is well drafted. The instructions are clear.  Nicole also gives a few useful tips on working with knits. A beginner can make it with no issues!



I love the length of the top, it's perfect to wear with skinny jeans. I wore it out a few times now and got a few of compliments. :) I believe the top has not been released yet, but check out Nicole's shop, I really like all her designs.

    Very stylish Olga! you look amazing. I can notice the pleats detail, I think the fabric you choose is very beautiful. I have been looking her patterns and I think they are very pretty. I need to get rid of some of my baby weight to try them

    You look great! I did mine in a solid and the pleats are really noticable...my kids call it my armor shirt. As for me, it fits perfectly...I've got extra long arms and I like my tops a little loose.
