I am so excited to announce that the Eleena Dress is now in the shop! I have been posting sneak peeks on Instagram and today I can finally show all the beautiful dresses made by my testers.
The Eleena dress is a 1960s inspired A-line dress that features an inverted pleat and an invisible zipper in the back. There are three sleeve options to choose from - short set in sleeves, long sleeves with cuffs and flutter sleeves. The unique collar completes the look. The Eleena dress is available in sizes 2 through 12 years. This is a confident beginner friendly pattern.
This was the first dress I made, and it has become one of the most worn by my daughter. My goal was to create an interesting, timeless look, but also a dress that's not constrictive and comfortable to wear and play in.
The talent in the testing group was amazing. I don't know how I lucked out with the most skillful, and talented group of ladies to work with. Love all the dresses they made. I thought I would group the dresses based on the sleeves option. Of course every dress can be made with or without the collar. Let's start with the long sleeves option The sleeve is gathered at the cuff. The cuff can be made in contrast fabric.

Let's move on to flutter sleeves. Aren't they fun! They are very versatile too - perfect for summer but also work great in winter with a shirt underneath.
