My almost two year old had two rompers that were still in
decent shape, but kept coming undone at the bottom, a sure sign that it was
time to retire them. I was kind of attached to the rompers, or maybe just to
the idea that my baby boy was still a baby, not a naughty toddler. But I had to
face the reality that he was growing up and looking like he was wearing a
dress wasn't the best look for a young man. So we decided to make t-shirts.
This is a quick and easy project. It took me 15 minutes to finish both.
And you are done! Two "new" t-shirts to wear.
That is such a great idea. I wish I had thought of it back in the day when my son was little and outgrew his cute onsies.
ReplyDeleteIt was so quick and easy I keep eyeing my baby's bodysuits. :) They might become t-shirts soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea! I know that my little dude will fit into his rompers for much longer now! And they seem to always be a little roomier than regular onsies, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI host a weekly Friday link-up party and I would love it if you would link this or any other great posts up sometime!

I love this... (and I *still* have my kids rompers, and am totally attached to them!)
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple quick fix - great idea!
