The Ania Tunic Tester Pictures Round Up

I am so excited to share pictures of the Ania tunic from my wonderful testers. The pattern is still on sale for $6.00 only! It will become your child's wardrobe staple. Grab it here.

I originally made the tunic to go with Wild and Free Pants.  I wanted to make something sweet and classic, something that has timeless design and appeal. I think, the final version of the pattern is exactly how I imagined it to be.

Versatility in patterns is important to me. I like when the pattern offers a few options to choose from, so you can make a completely different look using the same pattern. It tends to be cold where we live, so a long sleeve option was a must. The sleeve is slightly gathered with a cuff at the bottom.

The woven version has a simple buttonloop closure in the back. Two or even three button loops can be added. Or pretty trim can be used instead to make ties.

The knit version has no closures in the back, it's not lined and the neckline is finished with a band. It's quite a quick project to make. I think it's looks cute and a bit dressy, but offers the comfort of a t-shirt.

The tunic has a nice swingy shape to it.

And let's not forget the pockets. Cute bows can be added, or they can be made plain. Check out the perfect pattern matching on the butterfly tunic. If not for the bows, the pocket would be invisible!

The tunic comes in sizes 9-12 months through 12 years and I think it works great for girls of any age!
I trully had the best group of ladies testing for me. They went above and beyond to make sure the pattern was perfected before the release. Quite a few made several tunics with all the changes that I was making. We made sure the fit was just right, the sleeve was not too puffy, and had just the right amount of sweet gathers. They were patient and supportive! I really appreciate it. I was touched by all the encouragement I received.

As much as I love creating patterns, it's also tedious and time consuming. I often wonder if it's worth it. But then when I work with such incredible ladies, who take my pattern and create something absolutely stunning, it makes me want to keep working and keep creating. Just look at all the stunning Ania tunics above!

Just a few more bow pockets for you! Sweet.

The Ania tunic is perfect for playing and exploring!

Thank you again for all your incredible work! I am grateful for all your hardwork. And here all the wonderful ladies! Check out their blogs and social media.
