The Ila dress is here and on sale! Purchase HERE. Today, I will be showing all the pattern versions that my wonderful testers sewed up!
The Ila dress is an A-line dress with two sleeve options, rounded yoke feature, central panel insert (optional) and hidden pockets! It's a great pattern to play with fabric and trims - piping, lace, pom-poms etc. The color blocking possibilities are endless. The pockets are fun and always the favorite feature among children.

Trim is completely optional, but I think it elevates the design. Piping makes everything better, right?
I love how different fabrics give a different vibe from casual, to 60s mod to classical.

My kids love the pockets. I think it's probably true of all little models. They are perfect for storing all the junk treasures.
I had the most wonderful group of testers who went above and beyond in helping me get the pattern ready for all of you. Almost everybody made several samples and numerous muslins. I am so grateful for all their hard work. I could have not done it without them.
I really love how beautiful yet completely different all the versions are!
The dress is not difficult to make. A confident beginner can tackle it!
Three completely different looks of the same pattern.
Details from a fun dress made by Marie of La Couture Pour Les Brutes.
The pattern is on sale through Monday, December 19th! Get your copy HERE
Special thank you to my brilliant testers! It was such a great group of people to work with. Please visit their blogs and other social media for inspiration.

I love the plain and simple versions the most. Ila is so beautiful of herself that all attention should go to the pattern lines, in my opinion. You did an amazing job Olga, I just love the little pockets.
