I am so excited to share with all of you tops and dresses made by the wonderful Sirocco Top/Dress testers. I am always lucky to have great ladies who make the most beautiful things testing for me. This round was no exception.
The Sirocco is a breezy swing Top/Dress made for woven fabrics. The feminine bell-shaped sleeves and the high-low hem add a touch of whimsy to this style. The Top is perfect paired with casual trousers for a more formal look, and the Dress is great for those days when you want to look stylish but still be comfortable. It comes together quickly and is suitable for adventurous beginners. There are no closures. It comes in sizes 2-20 and looks flattering on every body shape!
The pattern provides helpful lengthening/shortening line to easily adjust the length to your liking. Helpful notches make sewing a breeze! It comes together quickly and is suitable for adventurous beginners.
Both the hem and the sleeve hem are shorter in front and longer in the back creating a cascading silhouette.
The pattern looks best sewn if lightweight fabric with good drape, such as rayon, silk, voile, lawn, etc.
